In 10 years, the Italian coworking brand has also launched its innovation school and offers numerous events within its campuses dedicated to digital innovators. Since June 1, 2021, France has had its first Talent Garden (“TAG”) in the hypercentre of Lille, which aims to support the future unicorns of French tech.

Lille, a city at the heart of Europe

Lille, gateway to the French and European market? There’s no doubt about it. Increasingly preferred to Paris, the capital of Flanders has everything it takes to hold its own. And the Talent Garden teams won’t deny it.

TAG is a veritable campus bringing together professionals, startups, agencies, freelancers, investors and students from the digital innovation sector. In short, “if Paris has its Station F, Lille now has its Talent Garden”. Located in the heart of France’s 3rd largest business district, on the second floor of the Westfield Euralille shopping center, theTalent Garden coworking space is at the heart of a strategic hub. Surrounded by stores and restaurants, it’s at the crossroads of the rail lines linking Paris, London and above all Brussels. This proximity to the Belgian capital is taken to the extreme, as the premises are on the same level as the platform walkway serving the Brussels trains… An ideal location for tech players accustomed to business travel.

Open to Europe, the Talent Garden campus is also keen to involve local partners. To provide its members with optimum support, TAG has, for example, created a partnership with its neighbor Gym Club to complement its launch offer, enabling it to offer gym membership with the TAG subscription.

For the record, Lille was an obvious choice not only because of its economic and geographical appeal, but also because of its dynamism. Davide Dattoli, the Italian founder of Talent Garden, found in Lille a little of his native Brescia: a city on a human scale, with an industrial past and a dynamic economy. Located to the east of Milan, the city was chosen over the Lombardy capital as the location for the first campus in 2011.

More than just a coworking space, a genuine community

TAG’s conviction? Innovation happens by bringing together diverse people motivated by change. Our campuses are designed to be cocoons for digital talent: friendly, flexible places. And more than a coworking space, TAG defines itself above all as a community of enthusiasts, driven to rise both economically and professionally. In concrete terms, TAG organizes meet-ups, webinars, conferences and innovation programs… which will begin in Lille as soon as the health situation permits. The key to success lies in the combination of a coworking space, an innovation school and programs for businesses in the same niche sector.

Technology and innovation are tomorrow’s economy. Our aim is to bring together players with cross-disciplinary and therefore complementary activities in a single location; to make life easier for these players by meeting their immediate needs, either ourselves or by putting them in touch with the right partners or service providers. Because the key to success for a start-up is, above all, speed!

Pauline Carpentier, Community Manager Talent Garden Lille

By putting agility at the heart of their business and offering tailor-made services, Talent Garden is responding to a need for economic flexibility, heightened by the covid-19 crisis.

A community manager and a hospitality manager have been assigned to this mission in Lille, and a third recruitment is planned by the end of the year. By betting on local, multilingual (French, English, Flemish), dynamic and versatile profiles, the Italian company has put all the chances on its side to offer its winning formula to French explorers and innovators.
