Lille has been awarded the “Innovative and Sustainable Destination” label, making it the ideal setting for your business events. Reduce the carbon footprint of your event with our range of sustainable services.

Launched by the Réseau France Congrès et Evénements in 2019, the Innovative and Sustainable Destination label aims in particular to make France a responsible destination in the run-up to the 2024 Olympic Games. This eco-responsible tourist destination label brings together tourism professionals. A guarantee of the credibility of the region’s sustainable approach, it is based on a set of guidelines comprising 26 actions, the application of which is monitored by the certifying body: Bureau Véritas.

This national certification testifies to the collective commitment of our destination and its stakeholders to sustainable tourism, as demonstrated by a number of actions.

Economic: organising events linked to the region’s sectors of excellence.
