Lille Metropole candidate to host the European Customs Authority

What is the European Union Customs Authority (EUCA)?

Created as part of the May 2023 reform of the Customs Union, the European Union Customs Authority (EUCA) will coordinate the twenty-seven national customs administrations, manage the European Trade Data Hub and harmonise external border controls. The new agency will employ two hundred and fifty staff, and will eventually grow to five hundred, making it the second largest agency in Europe after the Anti-Money Laundering Authority.
